Our Donations

The Year My Dad Went Bald is honored to donate a portion of the proceeds from each book to two groups who meant the most to us during our battle with cancer.

LLS_logo_FNLThe Leukemia & Lymphoma Society: The world’s largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world and provides free information and support services. Its mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Hockey Fights Cancer: A joint initiative founded by the National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players’ Association to raise money and awareness for hockey’s most important fight. The program is a component of the NHL’s “Biggest Assist Happens off the Ice” campaign, the League’s long-standing tradition of addressing important social issues in North America and around the world.
