Went to see our new oncologist, Dr. Kristie Blum, yesterday at the James Cancer Center and continue to be amazed at how many lives are touched by cancer–many in a far more dramatic way than was ours. Although we wish it was not the case, this means that the audience for “The Year My Dad Went Bald” is likely more far-reaching that we could ever imagine.
We plan to send a complimentary copy of the book to the various oncology centers around our area, to doctor offices and support services. We are excited to partner with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, which will help us promote the book in exchange for per-book donations, and we also promise donations to Hockey Fights Cancer for every book sold.
We have a lot of other plans to share the message of “The Year My Dad Went Bald,” but would love to hear from you any suggestions on getting the book into the hands of those who need it most. Any thoughts?
